Hi all, I got the dreaded check engine light 2 days ago along with the chime and the def gauge went to zero then back to 3/4. Light stayed on. No error code on the screen so when I got home hooked up the scanner and it showed P203 B error code. Question is if this is considered an emissions system warranty due to it being an issue with the def gauge? It’s going in next week for the U53 airbag recall and now this!

I cleared the CEL that day, only driven it once since then and hasn’t returned, hopefully a hiccup like you say. We’ve got a Nascar week in Phoenix coming up in six weeks, no hiccups allowed. If it does might have to employ the “ passenger seat eject” button! 😜😜😜 thanks for your input!

Thank you for the input Choy348. It’s been almost 2 years since I got the P203B code and nothing since then. Just clicked 40k and have gone thru around a tank and a half of def with no issues. I feel it was a hiccup like Ltngdrvr posted. Happy Holidays!!!!!!

Others have said the truck will not go into limp mode with the P203B trouble code, and mine never did. Sound like it may be the pump itself With the limp mode on your screen and by reading the dealer recommendation. May be covered under the long term emissions warranty, def system is a major part of the emission system on the truck. Check the supplemental warranty info.
