Which Track Bar To Get?

I've been reading up a little on track bars and from what I understand they really help steering feel and "death" wobble. My truck tends to pull in one direction alot because my offset on my wheels pushed my tires out an addition 2 inches. So will a track bar help me in this situation? Im looking for some user feedback so which manufacturer do you recommend?

I just hit 60k mi and have had the "death wobble" 4 times now, before it was over 80mph so i just kept it a lot slower now its at 50mph. i went to checkers auto parts and they still want $200 +/- for the stock parts that they order from the dealer. so in my mind and from what ive read the stock ones are junk, get an adjustable one, the eliminate the ball joint on the end but they will run you a little more but it will be worth it.

Can only speak for what I have (thuren) priceless, best thing I put on my truck.

an adjustable track bar will help recenter your axle when you lift your truck. Thuren and Carli use similar track bars. I believe thuren's is bare and Carli's comes powdercoated.

You might want to look at getting a nitrogen steering stabilizer. my truck pulled to the right even with "in spec" alignment. I got the Carli bilstein 7100 stabilizer and my truck drives straight as an arrow on the freeway.

Many things can cause the death wobble. you might want to also look at a steering box brace. this really tightened up my steering and gives great support for the box.

you might also want to check your ball joints. Dodge has some pretty weak factory balljoints and if they are shot could add to a death wobble problem. My uppers were bad at 20k miles.

Personally, I really like the Rare Parts version. It keeps factory geometry and uses the factory tapered mounts. It is super beef, adjustible in length PLUS is can be adjusted to take slop out of the joint.

From what I can tell they only make them for 2nd gen's.
Looks like a stock bar with a different end on it, but definitely not for a 3rd gen.

i just ordered up a carli and a 3rd gen adapter so i can use a 3rd gen track bar. and the carli looks very sexy i cant wait to put it on (little cheaper then thuren and already powder coated).

the carli was $345 shipped but said it was for 0-3" lift. but im sure they can or have track bars for bigger setups.

In my experience, the pulling to one side (right) didnt have much to do with the track bar. It did it right from the start. It still did it after my leveling kit was installed, and after my Thuren track bar was installed. I decided to just live with it but it ended up going away completely after I installed my Fox stabilizer. I believe the nitrogen charge in the stabilizer but just enough pressure in the oposite direction to eliminate the pull.
Also, the Thuren track bar doesnt come bare. Mine came silver and was cheaper than the Carli bar.

I got the pure performance track bar installed today and I can feel immediately that the steering is alot more precise and tight. Before I could move the wheel side to side a small amount and it would be just dead play in the wheel... now it starts to turn and feels very precise. I haven't got to go to the highway yet because Im at work but I did go pick up the truck from my friends shop during a break. If you have a few extra 100 laying around this is a worth while must have mod!

Good to hear, I bought one and its sitting in my living room (has been for a little while, lol), and I'm hoping to find some time to install it soon.

You can adjust your steering wheel by manipulating the collar in marked area. Your steering wheel shifted due to front end shifting into proper location.
