Anyone in Georgia in or close to Savannah, Ga? I am from outside of Savannah and would love to meet some other Cummins members to check out their rides!

thanks

Hey, TTT, I'm in Beaufort, that's close...

I'm trying to get some guys together here in Beaufort, there are a few...

#3 ·
yeah, if you get something together let me know, always to meet some other Cummins peeps!

#6 ·
Nice, another Cummins guy in town! Always nice to have another Cummins guy near by.

#8 ·
Unfortunately not since I have not found many Cummins guys on any forums in the area to have a meet up. Run into some truck around town time to time on the streets but not where I can get ahold of them again.

I'm in Richmond Hill the little town which is right outside savannah.. It would be cool to make a cummins meet or a diesel truck meet of some sort because I know alot of people with nice diesel trucks just not cummins.. =/. I know the mopar meets in Savannah are getting huge now though.

Yeah lets try to do something sometimes, Id love it. We just need to get some times up and see what can happen.

#13 ·
Yeah man, I'm in Effingham County. Let me know if ya'll decide to get together.

Triple T do go to pooler by any chance? I swear I saw your truck there at the walmart about a week ago..

#15 ·
where in sav area can you buy parts? i stationed in ft stewart when i get back state side

#16 ·
Jonhyboy, you should see my truck at Wal-Mart in Pooler most days, I work in the Pharmacy there. So it was probably my truck if it had black/chrome wheels parked out closer the interstate side of the lot.

Need try to see about getting a meet together now since all holidays past, maybe something at Hooters or something similar depending on whos coming, kids and all.

Yeah! An I saw it on new years. I'm always near that area visitin friends an what not.

That would be fine with me.

Hey y'all, I'm stationed here at Hunter. If y'all see a silver 98.5 24V with a little damage to the lower driver's door and OK plates, that's me. I'm trying to find a diesel shop here in town, but haven't had any luck yet.

need pics of said truck, as i goto hunter once a week (well when I am home I do)
69HemiGTX, what are you wanting done? or just hunting parts? I know of only one shop in Brooklet that does performance work on Cummins, owner drives one and that who I bought my Quad ADR from. Not any performance shops that I know of in Savannah.
I am in same boat, I need someone who has parts in stock (say 1-2 hours from savannah) I really prefer to buy from local guy instead of online even though I am doing my own install

Yeah I know of ZERO shops around here that will have anything instock, all are going to be a "Will order it for you". That's why I just order it myself save some money on taxes and shop online cause either way you go its all going to be shipped in. I did have my trans built by Jeff Garmon of Garmon Diesel Performance but hes about 3.5hrs away and doesn't stock other parts other then trans parts.

#22 ·
yeah, very doubtful Brian in Brooklet is gonna stock the parts ya need. I'm in Statesboro. Got my goat in Springfield...which, i might add, is a rather sore topic at the moment...seeing as how I'm back in town WITHOUT my truck and I've recently discovered my truck has a lengthy history, which they blatantly covered up.
now it won't go in gear, so i left it...a couple hours away!
waiting on my wrecker to get out the shop, so I can go pick it up.

As soon as I can get the financing, I'm going to do a P-pump swap. I'm buying the engine complete, and I won't need the rest, so I figured a diesel shop might be interested. Plus, I have very little space to work here unless I do it in the parking lot or the auto craft shop on post. I'd love to pull it into the hangar at work, but that's a no-no. Here's the truck in my sig. Like I said, the lower driver's door and rocker are hurting now, but I'll get it taken care of. I've got a pair of rust-free doors just waiting. There's a near twin of my truck here, too, but it has GA plates and a bed topper. I saw it last night in my apartment complex.

69HemiGTX, hey man if your every looking to upgrade to the stock aluminum rims, I have some for sale just need two tires for the rears. I bet Brian would do the swap for you but nothing thats going to be cheap and nothing he would allow you to help with.

GingerN, buy it from Springfield Dodge?

#25 ·
That is correct. I have left a few messages with no return call...shocker.

Also try Sinkhole Customs in Statesboro to price out those wheels, or any other truck parts, for that matter.

#26 ·
yeah, I haven't dealt with them very much ever but have heard some stories about them time to time, I normally deal with Hoover Dodge in Savannah since Savannah Dodge closed after the crash.

yeah Sinkhole has some nice looking rides, look like that do a great custom work.
