Hi all. I am new to the truck world, obviusly ive drove them but not much knowlage because i was given a car for my 16th birthday. have been wanting a truck for the longest but havent had money. i am currently 19 and just started a land manegment buisiness with my buddy and we have been using my dads truck (he let me trade vehicels to get our buisiness off the ground). I am just posting on here to see if the 6.7 is going to be a good reliable truck for me to really put some work on. specifically the 2011 model is what im looking at and yes i would be 100% willing to learn and mess with any problems that come with it. if yall have any advice or helpful info please lmk thank you.

If wanting to stay with 2011+ and being newer to diesels I would say try and stay between13-18 just my opinion. I own a 12 love it but 11-12 do have a little worse factory emissions than 13+. From what I have read on here and friends the 16-18 where the best of both worlds option power/ reliability with emissions. If you are going to tow make sure you know the gear ratio you are buying and I would recommend finding a close to stock truck. The vehicle maintenance records and miles are super important. Finally would like to add is just basic maintenance is key to these trucks running a long time and don’t skimp and order cheap filters etc.
