You know, at first I thought my trans was just having an issue going into lockup, then I thought maybe it was turbo bark, but I am now sure it is not turbo bark because it even does it under lighter throttle. I think I just need to save up for a better converter. That gave me better mileage on my 03. (DTT Single disc converter)

Anyone have a clue as to how much HP i will add, by adding on a 2nd gen manifold, a 2nd gen intake, a 5''tbe, and an he351 turbo

is it worth it to add all that for $800

My current mods are a 4in straight with CAI, and an rbp tuner and some he341 mods, w/ a fooler, im hitting 40psi tops.

How long are the ujoints in the front driveshaft lasting in your guys trucks?

My truck has about 72,000 miles on it, and I have not greased those mythicial needle fittings since I bought the truck two years ago....

I have the front driveshaft out and will be replacing all three ujoints in the front shaft, to rule out some clunking noises

Don't try to go anywhere but straight ahead in 4LO. They all feel weird like that...
And it doesn't matter if you go 4-wheeling or not. The U-Joints can still dry out and disintegrate.

I had u-joints start going on the rear driveshaft at 50k, the fronts went around 75k. I replaced the cardan ball along with the both u-joints while i had it apart on the CV joint.

I'm confused too, I've got about 130K on my truck now, and really all that's going on it are the front ball joints. I don't think they were just done when I got the truck either so as far as I know I've got factory joints all around. I'll be replacing the fronts when I'm in there to do the balljoints just so I don't have to ear into it twice...

I replaced the balljoints at 135k and a u-joint in the front axle at 140k

No drive line parts on me formine yet. 70000 miles on it.

I just dropped the front driveshaft off at the driveline shop

The single end ujoint was tight, but the double joint in the cardan end needed to be replaced; $115 and done tomorrow

I know exactly what your talking about, it feels "strange" when im in 4Lo why is that, its hard to explain like its really tight and feels like a driveshaft is about to "POP".:lol4:
