New injectors have been in for about a month now, 100% from Exergy.

Since I've had them it will smoke at idle and a little taking off down the road. White/blueish smoke.

I know they're larger and expected some of that, but at a stop light its just coming up past the truck and pretty awful for the person next to me.

Runs and idles just fine though. Sometimes on startup ill get a big cloud of smoke. Just cant help think something is still not right.

I know exergy is top notch and they were great to work with. Just wondering if maybe something could be wrong with an injector?

Not sure what exergy uses, ill check out their site. I believe they start with Bosch motorsports nozzles though.

I have exergy 100% overs and they haze vary slightly if you look close and under light load, with good efi tuning they have cleaned up almost completely. I do know my tuner upped my rail pressure at idle I thats what did the trick might ask phil it they did that? Anarchy knows what there doing so unless they haven't or somthing else is wrong u might have to live with it.

I may take a video for you guys to see, if its normal then its normal. But I think its a little more than just a haze, but I could be wrong and paranoid.

I'll ask phil about that, because at idle it still sits at 5-6k like before.

It does, I haven't held it more than 5seconds or so, but it stays up there. On my autometer gauge anyway.

If you think it is more than just a slight haze. Pull them and send them back to be tested. If there is something in a nozzle pay to have it cleaned before it damages the nozzle and you have to buy a new one. Disassembly usually runs between 150 to just under a grand pending on how many and debris in them
Hopefully I'll get a chance to get a video this weekend and see what you guys think. If we think theres something there, I'll do that.

Thanks guys!

Actually, I lied about the rail pressure, It'll top out at 21-22k WOT.

I did get with Phil and asked if upping the idle rail pressure would help. The next response came with my new tune. So I'll try that and see if it helps with the idle haze.

Gotta give it to Phil and anarchy for quick responses.

Well got the tune loaded from Phil. Rail pressure at idle is right at 8-9k. And no more smokey haze. Perfect!

Any cons to having the pressure turned up at idle like this?
