Need Help, rotor stuck

I decided to change the brakes today, started around 9 am and now its 5 pm and the damn front rotors are stuck on the truck. I tried beating them with multiple weight hammers, heating with a map gas torch, and lots and lots of lubricant. I even used a long pipe and tried to beat it off from the opposite side of the truck. Does anyone have an idea on how to get it off? I am soaking it over night and was going to try heating it in the am, but any advice would be great.

That's what I was going to ask. I haven't done rotors on these trucks yet, but most others I've done required an impact screwdriver to get stubborn rotors off. I just used the cheap heavy screw driver that turns a little when it's smashed with a large hammer or small sledge.

Go to the hardware store/homedepot/lowes etc.

Buy a 1/2" diameter bolt 3-4 inches long and a nut to fit it.

Put the bolt thru the caliper mounting hole in the knuckle, then thread the nut onto it where it protrudes on the rotor side of the knuckle.

While holding the nut with a wrench, tighten the bolt. It will begin to push on the outer edge of the rotor and pop it free.

I've never had this fail to remove even the most stubborn stuck on rotors.

Thanks for the helpful comments guys, I actually just got them off. They’re in 2 pieces, but they’re off the truck. I did more googling and found a couple guys used a sledgehammer, which I was a little hesitant using earlier today, but it turns out that was what worked. I like the bolt trick, I’ll have to remember that next time.

while similar but much smaller, when I did the rear rotors on my Trailblazer, the rears were seized on bad. Hammer, prying etc with no luck. Didnt have a bolt handy that would fit in so buddy brought over the air chisel. The rotors were not usable after but I had new ones to put on anyway. I hit them from every angle and they broke loose.

The rears are next, I’m gonna get anti-seize this morning before I put the front together. The rear I should be able to use the OEM bottle jack against the rear suspension to break it free. I didn’t want to do this on the front as everything I could jack against was a steering component and I didn’t want to screw up anything.
