Lever Lock Connectors

Hello fellow Ram enthusiasts. I have a problem. I installed a set of AMP Power Steps this past weekend and disconnected a few connectors and then attempted to reconnect them. One connector on my 2014 3500 is a blue connector on the white board behind the ebrake. I broke the fingers that positively lock it in place. Two questions; 1. can I replace the lever on the connector. 2. I have no dome light, can't turn my headlights off (thank goodness the automatic part works), the adjust for lighting on the dash doesn't work, no cargo light, no jake brake, and the tow function will not engage. Is it just this connector?

Whew, a lot to spit out in a short space. I am a newb to the forum, but hoping some wiser, more knowledgeable folks can help me out.

If you pull the part number off the connector and google it you should be able to find who makes that connector and the order just the lever. Worst case is go here https://techauthorityonlinedemo.extra.chrysler.com/service/repair/wiring/view/classic.htm and you should be able to order the repair kit which would be the whole connector and lead wire but it won't be cheap.

All the other problems are most likely that connector. Why did you disconnect the connectors, did you remove any pins or just so you could splice in to existing wires?

You "have to" remove the connector so you can splice into the 4 wires for door ajar.

I was asking to just make sure if he depinned he didn't repin in the wrong position.

Thanks for the replies. I did have to remove the connectors, but I didn't de-pin anything. I simply was too rough on the re-install and forced the lever lock and broke the pins that force the connector to seat. I did look up the number and have found a few suppliers, but only in 200-300 count. I don't want to pay $200-300 for one connector.

I did remove the lever to see if I could repair it and when I re-inserted the connector it now works. That will suffice temporarily, but I will want the correct equipment in place to make sure the connection stays firm.

I don't have any excuses. I was tired and made a stupid hasty decision to reconnect and now am paying the price, but hopefully not the higher price of a dealer fix.
