These two need taken out.

I went ahead and pulled the door panals off.

These are helpful tools to get the panal popped off.

Unplug the connector that is hooked to your mirrors
Image

Unbolt the 3 bolts that hold the mirror on

Here is a pic of the bracket that has to be put on if you don't have towing mirrors...
Now just plug them in tighten the bolts up and pop the door panals back on.:thumbsup

Nice write up. I tried taken the panel off my doors the other week so I could know how to do it, and I wasnt able to. I took the three screws out and then tried lifting the panel but it wouldnt budge, and i didnt want to pry to much with the fear of ruining th panel. Any suggestions? And also, you think u could post the part #'s for the mirrors, and mounting plates? TIA

Ok I got them from fenderworld and i believe the part numbers are DG49EL and DG49ER and if you don't already have towing mirrors you need to buy the brackets for extra support and i got mine from fenderworld but you can also get them at the dealer and the number for those are DGBKT from fenderworld and 55156128AB and 55156129AB from the dealer. On the door panal I don't think it slides....There are like 14 yellow clips all the way around it.....You have to get behind them and pry them out of the door and sometimes they will pop off from the door panal itself and if it does that just pry it off the door and put it back on the panal before you go to put it back on...The tools i show in the picture really helps so if you can find one or can find something like it that will help....I borrowed from a friend that is a auto body mech. Hope this helps

cool deal.....how well do they move and heat and everything....how was fenderworld and shipping costs/time/quality etc.

mirrors are 279, support plates are 30 and shipping is 30

Ya shipping was problay about right because they are large and the quality was good but it did take 2 weeks to get here but that is part because they were back ordered.

279 for manuals (i assume), holy S*%#. I just bought some online for like 219 for the pair. I also heard the a guy on the forum didn't recommend fenderworld because he ordered his mirrors before christmas and got them this week. If you haven't allready ordered mirrors go to google and search for dodge tow mirrors. A search result will get you a nextag.com listing. The site comapres the prices of other online sellers (also you can go to bizrate.com). Anyways good luck.

Also after popping off the door panel, do you have problems with rattling etc... If so do you just get new clips from dodge?:confused013:

For the $279 you get both power heated tow mirrors...Fenderworld is out of them alot so sometimes they have to get more in just ask them if they has any or we they are getting more in and that will tell you when you should expect it.... The poor panel doesnt rattle and i just used the old clips because they were still in the panel so I just pushed it back on. If you have anymore questions i would be happy to help

They look good. I bought my tow mirrors from speedycarparts.com They are pretty cheap. For the manual tow mirrors the are about $140.00 for the pair. The electric and heated tow mirrors are about $220.00 And they ship pretty fast.
