Do a search on here, there is a way of using the power steering to get it out, however be carefull doing it. another option is air tools, like an air hammer driving it out using the 4 bolts.

Use a deep week socket and put between the knuckle and the hub, turn the wheel one way until it moves a little, then move the socket to another location on the hub and do the same. Just be careful that you don't blow the power steering pump. Just do it a little at a time, and take your time. It will come off. Another way to donor is just beat it until it comes off. I used a sledge because I didn't know the socket trick. We used the socket way on my buddies truck and it worked perfectly.

You can try the power steering method.I tried it twice with no results. The only way I got them off is with a 5lb sledge and an hour or so of beating the pi$$ out of them.make sure when you put the new one on to use some never seize to make life easier next time. Some will argue the power steering method but being from the Northeast makes it twice as hard with all the road salt.:banghead:

yeah iv tried everything.. i did the power steering trick didnt work...been beating it for 3 hours with a 20 lb sledge and wont even budge at all...

when you are working it out, it is like a see saw... you need to work opposite sides. so alternate sides you are hitting.

I know the shop that replaced mine said they used heat and beat the hell out of it. Took a good bit of effort.

spray the heck out of it with pb blaster where the bearing is pressed into the hub, repeat, and then let it sit overnite, then use the power steering method and some heat, works wonders.

Get two good chisles no junk ones and make shure there sharp start at the top of both bolt holes and work your chisles in with a bfh it will move I have changed several this way u may need to take a rat tail file or a (round file) to clean the bolt holes up but they will come out and use lots of antiseize when reinsatlling them

Did two trucks today and always use the power steering method works like a charm everytime only back the bolts out 3/8 th of a inch go top left bottom right then do the other two keep working it a little at a time and they will come off. Don't use a chisel and scar the hub mounting surface up. I bet I have done a hundred the power steering way and it never take more than 5 minutes to get them off Snap on makes the tool for doing it

An air chisel with a pointed tool on the bolt heads worked for me. Alternate back and forth.

I have four bolt holes tht hold the hub on. Chisel those holes?

I backed the bolts out about 1/8". Then put a pointed/center punch looking tool in the air chisel and pushed on the bolt heads in a cross corner fashion and pushed the hub out little by little. Then loosen the bolts a little more and keep going until the hub is out. Don't chisel in the bolt hole or damage the hub hole. I only have a cheapy air chisel and it worked for me. I learned this method when I removed the steering knuckles on my Ford.
