I ended up putting mine here:

Put mine to the left of thesteering wheel. Pulled the bottom piece off and cut the plastic directly underneath where the switch is

I bought the AMP 76404-01A, now I have an ODB port not even being used as I have the Edge Insight CTS and worried about the pass through sticking down too far.

You take the stock obd2 port out, and put the pass through where that was at, you will see. It will look as though you only have 1 thing plugged in like before.

Well switch showed up while I'm gone in the field working and wife was gone. Neighbors dog tore up the box wife said switch looks good but cable is tore up. Gonna see what another cable costs. FML
