Just got mine and the instructions say that it has a small blue LED light on the back of the switch that blinks for the number of the position. So as an example, if you flip to position 5 the light will blink 5 times.

Wondering whats the best spot to put it so I can see the light blink or just not worry about it. Would love to see pics of the switch installed in your truck!

Thanks!

Can you post a picture please, I thought about that area but you would not see the blue led blinking (maybe this is not an issue).

Thanks

He has the switch that's been used for years. It has a blue led on the back of the circuit board for diagnostic purposes.

To the OP unless you mount the switch backwards you won't be able to see the LED. The knob has an indication line that points to numbers on the sticker provided. Use that

Mine should be here on Tuesday. Granted there is a thread in the 3rd Gen forum, but I'd like to see some pics in the 4th Gen area. I mean our interior looks different after all. I've got some ideas in mind, but would like to see what others are doing as well.

hopefully will be installing mine on tuesday (if I get a day off, 2 weeks straight so far) I will post up a picture of where I put mine. Thinking of making something to fit where the stock brake controller would go.

I like that spot. But my trailer brake controller is there on my 2012. :banghead:
