stocker isnt adjustable...more boost will NOT help you unless you have fuel to burn.

 

guess i should elaborate.. i am trying to determin if i have a stuck waste gate. so removing the acuator can i remove it, see if i can move the gate, then place it back?

 

You should test the actuator with some shop air and see just how far it moves or if it even moves at all. I'd recommend the Edge Juice w/Attitude because of all of the features and the adjustability. The turbo cool down timer is absolutely awesome - will save the life of your turbo and benefit you in the long run :thumbsup

 

I think he has an auto so it is difficult to remove.

 

don't know much about the waste gate but you can't go wrong with the edge juice with attitude. Love mine

 

ok, so i got the waste gate un stuck with some PBBlaster and a pair of vice grips! YIPPEE now i am not defueling! (i had tested the acuator and it was good, then i found the holset rebuild manual and used their suggestions of "how to losen a stuck wastegate" and Imagine this, it actually worked!!

So here is my delema, i don't want to spend more than $350 for an edge unit. so which one would get me better mpg's and not hinder towing performance?

I would use the EDGE EZ. It's pretty much your only option in that price range. My friend has a 2000 equipped with one and pulls great, even through the mountains.

Yes, only on the 06 so far as I know. My last truck was an 04.5 and I ran the juice/attitude on it, and no cool down timer!
