Dealership DPF delete and chip

So I was in the local dealership getting some codes cleared on the truck and asked the service manager about the dpf delete. So he tells me they are a chip friendly dealer and they will do the delete install a H&S Mini Max and do all the updates for $2500. They showed me a dodge that was done and it was a really clean install with the Mini Max, right by the overhead console. He said if they do it then I won't have problems when I need to get other warranty work done unless it was directly related to the chip and delete and even then he said it's at their discretion. He basically said if I am out bagging on the truck then they won't warranty but if I wasn't beating on it then they would most likely fix it. I told him it's a work truck and it makes me money so I wouldn't be out beating it up. So my question is, do you guys think that $2500 is worth it to get Dodge to do the install and delete.

It's not Dodge doing it, it's the dealer. Seperate entities. I mean, if you get it in writting, by all means go for it.

Makes one think how Dodge would appreciate paying the dealer for work they ought not be doing...I'm thinking if it comes to Dodges attention, that dealer won't be dealing Dodges anymore. Just an aside thought...

BlackMaxx is around $1200 alone, mini is like $900 and they have gauges built in plus tune changes on the fly....etc.
A smarty is cheap but not the best on a 6.7 truck, they were better on the 5.9s

Anyway, you should be sub 2K with a very nice setup and the install is extremely easy.
