I ran over a tire carcass and within a minute or so my check engine light came on. The accelerator pedal quit working (stomped it to the floor a bunch of times and it started working again). The cruise control works when the pedal won't Codes are P483 p602 P2022 p2021. The truck now stumbles, accelerator pedal stops working intermitently (stays at idle) I can't find any damage. Anyone have any ideas. I use the truck for work and I am stuck in Texas. Thanks

look at all the wire harness's real close looks like it might have pulled acouple wires in two or broke them so they are getting a bad connection

P0483 is a fan clutch code.... typically the harness gets ripped out if/when you run over debris.. Its harness runs out of the bottom of the shroud and towards the engine.

P0602 This is a programming error, depending on if you have a smarty or another programmer on the truck it will cause this upon the end of flashing in new software.

I'm wondering if you didn't misread the codes when they came out P2121 and P2122 would make a whole hell of a lot more sense. Another guy on the forum here had a ground wire in the APPS circuit get pulled under similar circumstances and his truck wouldn't idle or rev going down the road. Replacing the pedal didn't fix his truck it was in the harness.
