Concern for possible injector leak?

Did a normal fluid check yesterday and even though I have no signs of an injector problem I did the paper towel test on the oil. The truck was cold when I checked the oil, left a lighter ring around the outside of the towel but then it all faded into the same shade after a short moment. No smoke at start up, no hard starts,in fact it fires instantly,no misses. Not sure this test is a valid one but the oil did seem to be a little thinner than normal. Could just be my paranoia, 119k on the clock. Comments??

Check the oil every morning for a while, with the truck parked in same place every time, and take note of the oil level.
If you find that it is "making" oil then your suspicions are correct.
You can also send in a sample to an oil lab, such as Blackstone, and they can tell you definitively if you have any diesel contamination.
Keep a close eye on it till you know for sure.
