Well after a good night of sleep, I decided, today is the day to trade in the F350 6.0L and go back to Cummins. What do you guys recommend for changes to make the 6.7 bulletproof.. Keep in mind, it will be used as a everyday driver and some towing of my bobcat.

If you're going to be towing with it/working with it then by all means I recommend you keep it stock. Its pretty much already bulletproof. There is no sense in throwing a 100k warranty away. Put some nicer wheels and tires on it and perhaps some Bilstein shocks to improve the ride/handling quality. Welcome back

Deleted or stock it will run well. I prefer the clean oil and better mpg's that I have from being deleted but am willing to pay to fix something myself though I doubt I will ever have to.

If you are getting a Dually get the max tow option.

If ur trading in ur 6.0 PSD, then almost anything is bulletproof in comparison... Lol

Good luck with the new truck. I just ordere a 2012 Dodge Cummins Laramie it will be here in 6 to 8 weeks

So what do you wanna use it for? Are you into performance and speed? Into more of a nice nice that runs good? Do you like the sound of a good I6 engine? Theres a few things thatll make this easier for mods i reccomend. Also is it a 6speed auto or standard?

I recommend a FS2500 for both the engine and automatic transmission. Super clean oil and extended oil life. Easy to install, no drilling.

Delete it. You'll be surprised at the difference in power and fuel efficiency.

Im thinking of getting 2011-2012 if dealership makes me good deal or used 06-08. Whats stock mpg on 2010-2012? Mpg when deleted? Good all around truck? No major motor problems or upgeades nesscssary? Is it worth it to delete/modify and throw warranty away? Only thing id like to do is FS2500, airdog 150, 5" exhaust, gauges/programmer, but willing to hold off on exhaust/programmer to keep warranty unless deleted is 10x better. Thanks big decision and tring to get ducks in a row

So if I have injectors or a MAF sensor that gets clogged is that also maintenance? What about a window motor that fails? Maintainence?

Sounds like an unscruplous Stealership to me.

Also sounds like your friend didn't fight them about it.

I raised holy hell with my dealership cuz it took them a whole day to flash my truck and fix the MAF. :banghead:

Had the owner on the phone calling by the time I got home. We had a nice long talk about customer service and staffing your business properly. :buttkick:

Squeeky wheels get the grease nowadays.

Sounds like the dealership voided the warranty and is breaking the law. Maybe not in Canada though. But in Texas that bullhookey don't fly.

Mpg on my stock 2500 quad cab 4x4 auto. 13 city. 18 hwy.
I've done as terrible as 11.5 around town. That hurt.

I'm really starting to think about a mini MAxx and delete pipe.
Just not on the highway enough.
