Ehhh... the older box units don't specifically say BW on the compressor housings, but they do have that weird little symbol cast into the compressor outlet that is a good indication.

OP, some shops cast custom covers to BW cartridges to fit a chassis better. Is your 62 from DAP?

 

My Cat(s) don't show Borg Warner but they are Borg Warner S300's.

 

its from Dap yes with the injector thing going im trying to fined out if i got screwed there also always thought it was weird not showing any of that logo or name.

I have nothing stamped anywhere 100% they could have sold be a super special crap for all I know.

Every borg Warner I've ever seen has either the name or there symbol on it. Cat c7 engines use borg warners but they are not stamped on those due to cat having there hands on them. I've never seen a box borg turbo not have there logo at least. That's all I was trying to say.

 

Yes, the older units have the logo instead of the name, which I pointed out above.

Regardless, until the op posts a picture of his, we have no way to determine if his is a genuine BW unit.

There is no number anywhere nothing at all. So can I say DAP screwed me on my turbo now also and should think about going in a direction on making them fix or pay for this problem also will be looking to have injectors replaced with another brand if this is the case.

 

Please post your experience with DAP on here. If it is Chinese repro, there's a huge issue, and they need to be called on it.

Oh I would bet money that the nozzles on your injectors are Chinese nozzles. But that's to be expected on the big box store cheapo injectors.

what EXACTLY (turbo) did you order from dap?

 

Hi, Have you contacted us directly? Do you have an order #? What is the number on the center section of the turbo? Kind of hard to give information and clear up misunderstandings when I do not know who you are or what and when you ordered.

Going to have to subscribe to this one. I was debating a turbo, DD valair and injectors, in the next couple months from DAP, might have to seek other options.

 

Ive seen a turbo with a cover that looked like that before on a customers truck but I have no idea where it came from. In all honestly I do not believe jkidd would intentionally try to screw anyone he's helped me out numerous times with my many questions and I've been happy with the products I've received. This is just my .02 take it for what its worth
