i wouldn't say one was "newer" than the other....but i don't really like miters cuz it seams like everyone and their mother is runnin em

Hey I like the tool box stand!! never seen one done like that yet. I'm making one out of alluminum that nearly molds to my stacks and cross pipe. tired of stuff melting and tired of carrying all my tools in the door pockets... they rattle too much lol. good job though! :thumbsup:

took 10" out of them. ran em that tall for a year. needed somethin new so I cut em down a bit.

little red cummins that stand is bada$$ i never seen that done either looks good. i dont agree SMKSTK i think aussie looks good on both and miter looks good on both....

ya but a better welder/metal fabricator will make it work and look better... :stirpot: :thumbsup: then again mine isnt finished yet, so I guess you win for the time being.

haha i went to college for weldin, and since i got out ive been weldin on code pressure vessals. full pen. tig roots on carbon and stainless. and even with mig.:blues::thumbsup:
some of the stuff that the shop built is x-rayed and ultra sonic tested. i dont think a tool box would be a problem if i wanted to build one:rof:hehe::rof

its good to see someone that can actually weld! so many say...o i can weld. then ya ask em something and they try like heck to come up with an answer:rof:hehe::rof

I still have that deer in the headlights look though with some of the vocabulary :rof. Like ER70S2...?? I know some of it, but thats a simple one. position, tensile strength and type of material. there are some that just leave you dumb founded especially in T.I.G. lol. Thanks for the comp, I was hoping an argument wasn't upon us lol. :thumbsup:

HOLY BAD WORDS!!! Sorry man, but I'm building a headeche rack for my monster truck and painting it just like that. Your far enough away though, nobody will know. :thumbsup: awesomeness :drool2:
