I have a 2006 3500 cummins diesel. One day the AC worked fine and the next day it wouldn't cool. There's no sighn of a leak. There is no voltage at the low pressure switch. I can't seem to locate a fuse or relay for the ac compressor. Can any one point me in the right direction. Also the light inside on the dash lights up but the compressor doesn't kick in. Thanks

When mine did that last summer compressor turned out to be bad-on a 5 hour trip on a 100 degree day!

In the summer of 2011, my AC went out. Actually, the diode in the clutch coil failed and would not let the compressor clutch engage. I have heard of a clutch coil available in the aftermarket, but I don't recall the details.

In my case, I had the compressor replaced and ac system serviced.

Given that you don't have voltage getting to the clutch coil, I would suspect the TIPM needs to be reset. As such, your clutch coil may also need to be replaced. Once the TIPM sees too many faults, or a large enough fault, it turns off that circuit. The only way to reset it, is to visit the dealer and pay their min ~1hr charge for shop time.
