mine only were rubbing the inner wheel well when i was cranked to the left and backing up at the same time 35 hankooks btw

 

they will probably rub on the control arms when you turn all the way but you'll get used to how far you can turn. its nothing bad.

 

I have some on aftermarket wheels if you would like to see....

 

Sure. My plan was to go with painted 3rd gen wheels, unless i can find a used set of something else pretty cheap

 

18x9's with 5" of backspacing and 35x12.50" tires

 

Here's my 01.

 

35's with a 2" leveling kit.

It does rub on the fender a little at full lock and hitting bunps but overall it is fine.

 

i run 35's with no level kit.
i don't really have any good side pics though. haven't really noticed much rubbing at all.

 

i love my 35X10.5's. they fit a stock rim perfect. and there really nice in the snow compared to wider tires.

 

So dusterman77 please give me the low down on exactly what you're running on your truck (lift components tires and other) because that is about what i want to do to mine and if you wouldnt mind could you include prices

well the tires are superswamper ssr's and paid about 1500 for them from summit racing. im running 2" spacers but dont remember where i got them. ordered them from a small add in peterson off road mag i think. i dont have a lift, being skinny they barely rub the plastic. and as far as the bumper goes i built it my self.

 

newbie here, checking out some threads and dusterman that is if not the best then darn close to the best dually i have ever seen great job man.

 

my truck is leveled and i got a set of 35'' procomp mts on there way here

i run 315/70R17(more or less 35 inches) on stock third gen rims....i rub the CA's at full lock....and have the turnin radius of a small boat...

she sure does look good w/ em though...

 

i like them 3rd gen wheels!!! paint or powdercoat??
