I have a 2011 3500 6.7 Diesel that surges when truck is not under a load or being drug down. If I'm running at a constant speed it will surge just enough to notice, It will keep on doing this until I move the foot to give more throttle or decelerate. I have already changed the throttle control sensor, Fuel regulator, and the high pressure fuel sensor. I have also deleted the truck. This is what the Dodge mechanic said the original problem was so he suggested that I delete it. That did not make a difference either. if someone can help or has run into this let me know.

Have you tried the simple stuff like cleaning your MAP sensor by your intake horn, downstream of your egr valve?

i really dont know...but can give my situation....ive had a surge or kinda like a loping when idling along or taping the exellerator to pull into a parking spot or driveway....its been driving me nuts for a year...did the CCV this past weekend and its unexpectedly gone! i have no idea why that would fix it except maybe it can breath better or whatever, but it seemed to help my situation...2011 fully deleted...

I have a similar issue also. Mine happens when I have cruise set at 80Km/h and have the tranny locked out of 6th to keep the rpm's up to not 'lug' the engine. I also run with my Exhaust brake on most of the time. If I hit a bump in the road just the right way it will start surging until I hit the brakes or throttle. CCV was changed a few months ago and It has happened since then but definitely not as often, could be clogged again with how much oil these engines make not deleted. Going to try the MAP sensor and see if that helps. Hard to know if it is actually fixed it since it may not happen for a month or two but I will report back. Truck is full stock as far as deletes go
