I got a bad piston/cylinder/ring....something along those lines, been that way since i had an injector take a dump on me last year but it is getting worse now that i have hooked up to the sled a few times (as expected lol)....looking for options on what to do when I ever get around to tearing it down. Ultimate goal is to get to 1000 hp but that might be a ways down the road but figured if i can get some of the correct parts in there while doing a rebuild I won't have to do it later on, any suggestions?!?

Idle video clip, plenty of white smoke at cold start but most of it goes away when up to temp

indeed it will be built, which way to go is the question....lots of talk about the 6.4 vs 6.7 and billet vs 12v rods etc etc......looking for some real world answers of what you folks have seen or built yourselves and what has worked and what hasn't....truck has been dynoed once (698/1325) and that was with 125 injectors, a II dragonfire cp3 and a 371 turbo, since then it has been upgraded to 200 injectors, shanes 10mm cp3, and a s475 which still makes for a good daily driven truck but if I need to tear it down which it sure looks like I do, it might as well get beefed up inside for when i get the bug for more fuel and air :hehe:

for as much blow by as i got right now it sure as hell don't act that bad, still pulls hard but the time is coming........

398 good gravy nice hook!

Yeah that line I posted is of a guy who built a truck more gear towards drag racing. But it has a lot of good information on the built motor.
