Bringing back an old thread... These parts numbers listed, do they correspond with the factory size intake tube? Does a BHAF have to ran with a factory tube? I have an aftermarket kit and don't own the factory tube, do they make any that would fit an aftermarket tube, or just the stock? What is the stock size tube? Diameter wise, thanks

I have only seen about 4 styles, and prefer the Wix 42790 myself. Which I believe is the same as the Napa 2790.

Yes, the WIX 42790 and Napa 2790 are the same filter and I prefer that one as well. It is the largest BHAF you can fit under the hood.

The stock airtube has a 4" diameter. All of the part #'s listed on page one use this diameter and fit directly on the end of the stock air tube. If you have an aftermarket air tube that has a 4" inlet then one of these filters "should" fit onto it. Worst case scenario you might have to try to find a used stock air tube to use the BHAF or there are plenty of guys that have used some 4" tube/bends and clamps to make their own.
