That sounds like fun. I'm so jealous of you guys that know all about transmissions and how to work on them. I'd be so scared to take anything like that apart.

Hahaha.im 21 and I learn as I go man

Here are the control arms that I made up for my truck, I hope to install them tomorrow.

I've been wanting to make some form mine also but I haven't decided on traction bars or making a shock setup to stop the axle wrap. I would think that a shock setup would have less binding to it. What do you guys think?

What's the difference between ladder bars and traction bars. i thought they were the same

Track bars is one bar that mounts on the axle and the other end mounts to the frame. When the truck moves threw the suspension travel that bar pushes the axle towards the rear of the truck binding up the leaf springs and limiting suspension travel

Ladder bars has two on each side that make an acute triangle two ends mount to the axle top and bottom. Other end goes forward to a bar that drops down and is able to move forward and back but not up and down.

Since it can move forward and back freely the suspension works like stock.

It cost more to build and takes away ground clearance... But you don't have to weld to the frame and can just use u-bolts on the fwd mount.

Just the quick and dirty from what I understand. Hope it helps...

Just got done ripping out the rest of my tint. Some laws are stupid! Who needs a smarty when you can pay the state 800 bucks in tickets!!!!!

Rant off

After the hassle of having 5% on my 2008 F150 I had when I was in highschool I don't think I'll ever tint anything more than stock again. Cops were a PIA and so was towing sleds in the dark. I had to stick my head out the windows to see where i was backing up

yeah ticket said 1%. the state trooper that verifyed my fix it tickets didn't even think they ticketed people for rear windows. oh well...

after random puffs of smoke coming out of the dash of my car it woudln't start. replaced the ignition switch. its crazy how easy it is to work on these old honda cars.

So i put on my airdog last week, truck start perfectly when its cold. Absolutely no problems starting in the morning for work, or after work. But once the motor is at temperature and i turn it off, starting takes 7-10 seconds of cranking before she fires again. Im thinking air is in the system and is expanding once its heated up? Im going to look over all my fuel lines and fitting to make sure everythings good and tight today.

anyone have any ideas?

You need a relay switch put in your fuel pump relay so it shuts the airdog off while cranking. . thats a quik fix, but the real problem is your VP. iv ran the relay for 3 years now with perfect operation and always quik starts.
