What brand of TC should I use?

After the help of a lot of people on here I have realized that it's time for a new tranny. To keep costs down for now i'm going to just put in a used tranny and build my current one to better specs for when I blow up the used one i'm about to put in. I want to know what i should do for a torque converter with another stock tranny that will be good to put into a built tranny later. I have an H&S mini max but don't beat on my truck that hard and it is a tow truck so I'm pulling a load quite often.

I am interested in this too.
It seems the problem is that a triple disc is great for a built trans but it will slip you over drive clutches on a stock trans.

I was thinking about a getting a single disc and installing it in mine. I just had a 'factory' rebuild done but I would like a little more while I wait out market on built 68s and see what happens, or just give it up and swap a nv5600 in...

I think it was CUMMINSFIREFIGHTER that installed a triple disc on a stock trans and he said it was great just going through the gears like normal but under WOT it slipped the overdrive clutches quick!
