Well, my 01.5 has ABS lights that come on within 3 minutes of starting. Brakes - and ABS - are fully functional. Had a friend pull the codes since my scanner won't read something this new (I know...need to upgrade the old MT2500) and got a long string of crap, starting with "VIN mismatched", out of the ABS box.
It looks like the ECM - on the engine block - has a Cummins recon logo on it.
Does the VIN have to be burned into a new/replacement ECM? Can it be re-flashed to correct any mismatch issues? Or am I looking at a new ABS box?
01.5, 4 wheel discs, 4 wheel ABS, 24v HO, 6 speed.
