No they come on some days at 60*, no question is silly just getting a good database being bored. Its anoying seeing my voltage drop to 10 when its 60 outside, I dont need a grid heater so when you delete them it cost money but unhooking is free, so what are those guys doing for codes.
Oh and asking a "silly" questions nobody has asked or asking who sells a strait pipe delete that 5 people ask a week, which is "silly"?? lol

does anybody make a kit to yank the 6.7 and swap in a 2.8 v6 from an early s10? that would be a sweet setup. bet it would sound awesome with an 8" tip!

As long as you leave the relays in place for them you shouldn't have any codes. You simply unhook the + lead coming from the batter to it and you are done for the electrical side. You can totally take that wire out and the wire from the relay to the grid heater if you are so inclined as well.

Hey i dont know if unpluggging the grid heater is such a great idea....im not too fimiliar with the B engine (6.7) but the isc 8.3 and isl 8.9 were having problems with the grid heaters plugging up from all the carbon, So thier was a calibration campaign...(one of many) on those ing things, to cycle to grib heater random during driving to heat it up real hot and prevent carbon pluggin on the heater.....
