Ether or really, after market mirrors are about the same anymore. I forget the exact brand mine are but they are the cheaper ones off amazon as far as heated and power mirrors go, and I have not had a problem yet. They may be the ones you have listed.

 

Soo I did a bit of digging and found this to be the exact mirror I had ordered.

Like I said, I have not had a single problem with the mirrors and have ran them for over a year. If you read the reviews, there is a "fix". I never did the fix, and haven't had the problem to do it so be advised.

You can get a set of manual mirrors on EBay for like $80

 

This is what I went with, I like them a lot. Power and heated, I like the split better than the corner split. Get power for sure, assuming you truck has power already.

^Yes, go with 1A auto. I had other aftermarket mirrors, both folding mechanisms broke in a year. Then 1A came out with the 4th gen style mirror with the bigger separately adjustable convex mirror, and it was a nice upgrade. They are better quality than the original mirrors I broke, and not a bad price for the quality.

 

Many mirrors come out of the same factories in China and Taiwan. Just grab a set of power/heated off Ebay. Wiring is likely already installed. The margins are slim and some of the big importers are selling 2nd gen body parts cheap to clean out inventory because these trucks are old and people are repairing them less.

 

Dumb question...I have an 01 2500 wondering if I have the wiring there for power/heated mirrors...anyone have a picture of what the wiring/plug looks like?

 

Do you have the power control knob on the drivers side window? Do you have the heater button under the ac controls on the dash?

I think all did by 01, that means you have the wires.

No I do not have button or controls, but I'm like marcar1993, think I have the wires behind the door panel

 

My 01 does not. However, I think the harness is in the doors for at least the power mirrors.

 

So it doesn't have power windows or just doesn't have heated windows? That's weird I thought power windows was standard.

Just throwing this out there.

I have non electric/heated tow mirrows on my 02. If anyone is interested i would trade for a factory set of non tow mirrors electric/heated. Pm me

 

I think the wires will be there because their shared with the bundle for the door speakers, amp and tweeter.

I have neither power or heated mirrors, and my truck is a Laramie. There is a clip on factory cover where the switch for power mirrors would go.

 

You likely have the wiring and only neet to find the other stuff. Track down the 01 FSM.

 

If your truck is a factory SLT the wiring is probably there just need the controller, if you have factory tow mirrors the wiring is probably there dodge did not make a power heat tow mirrors for 2nd gens and it's easy to tell if they're OEM or aftermarket mirrors

I have the 4th gen style from 1A highly recommend

 

Mine is a Laramie SLT

 

My second gen has power heated, the mirrors army factory anymore but there is a factory heat button and obviously the power controls

There was some ugly accordion like electric mirrors on it when I bought it. they went and out for tow with a switch. Ugly, shook like balls, bad vision. I swapped with oem style. Power and heated off my factory controls.

And no I don't drive with them flipped up when not towing hehe

4th gen mirrors are the way to go. Much better secondary mirror setup than the corner mirror version.

That's a 4th gen style. I have them too. Much nicer than the corner mirror.

 

Haha that doesn't bother me much, the mirrors are fine though i think because they always did work, one night I lost dome lights radio ect turned out to be iod fuse replaced started getting hot electrical smell running the mirrors, so not sure what's up yet but I never adjust em unless I flip em so I just leave em, heat fuction works fine

I bought the ECCPP ones off Amazon. Don't recommend them. They work just fine, but their fit is not so good. Had to silicone the gaps to make it water tight.

 

Well they are all a little cheap, aftermarket is just that. Their likely all made at the same place in China anyways. But what are ya gonna do, dodge doesn't make oem parts for 16 year old trucks, not at a reasonable cost anyways.

Mine seemed to fit good and had good reviews link I posted above.
