Im getting ready to put on my EGR delete kit and Ive heard horror stories on the back bolts for the Cooler. Does anyone have some advice or recommend something they've tried that worked well? Thanks.

I used a good swivel and a couple of 3/8th extensions. Worked well and I had the back nuts of in no time. Some people say a crows foot works. I tried that before and it didn't work well for me.

I didn't have anywhere near the trouble some people claim to have. I used a regular socket, a universal joint adapter and a couple of extensions to break them loose. Once loose they basically spun off.

It was a pain, but not as bad as some have made it out to be.

The REAL pain was that one up front that you cant hardly get anything on.

I found a really easy way.... 3" extension + socket goes on first. Then slide the 3/8 drive ratchet in and crank away. Remove in the same order once you bust it loose as you can easily remove it with the extension and socket only or use your hand at that point.

I've done both a 09 and a 10 using this method and it's no issue at all. That works very well on the 10's even with the tighter space they have back there due to the new cowl design.

lower right?

there's the two nuts on back, two long 13's that go into the head fro the bracket, and then like 5ish bolts that hold the cooler onto the bracket and the butterfly servo thing onto the bracket...

now if you mean the nut on the driver side of the front egr thing coming off the manifold, remove the cooler and bracket and butterfly, then get a 15 mil wrench and hook on another wrench(unless you're really strong) and break it loose

I bought a set of crows foot wrenches. I could not break anything loose with a socket on a swivel. Way too tight. All I did was rip up my knuckles.
