Anyone have any big tint strips on there windshield? Or has anyone done like 50% on the whole windshield?

Ya I know it's not legal I have 20% on everything except the window, it's illegal in ND, but they don't bother

Trying to make the truck look like a souped up honda?? haha. There the only things I see with half the windshield tinted and the driver bent over trying to see out under it.

I have a brow that comes down about 8 inches. It was done before I got the truck. It does help block the sun. These trucks do look good with tinted windows.

I have my front done like the top picture. 5 percent. I love it. I don't ever use my sun visors anymore.

i would love to see some pics of the windshields with tint on them!

Here in AZ a highway patrol will check your windows and if not legal hand you a razor and watch you take it off.

I had 5% put on all the way around over top of the factory tint. 5% brow that is at least 8" but left the rest of the windshield at the stock tint level. Don't find myself ducking to see out (am 6' tall), except to see stoplights on dark days. It is really nice in the full sun, and is no problem at night except for backing up into dimly lit areas which is easily remedied by rolling down the side windows. I have a camper shell, so that makes it even darker in the back. Have had it on now for over 6 months, had it professionally done at a local window tint place that was highly recommended since I didn't have the time to do it myself. The guy used quality materials fully warrantied and was extremely meticulous about getting it perfect spent an entire day doing the whole truck also didn't charge an arm and a leg.

In CA it has to be see through and must be at least 29" above the "depressed" driver's seat. I am sure several states are similar, maybe fed standard.

My buddy had a top and bottom eyebrow on his ferd(5% I think) I didnt like it only cause im about 5in taller than he is. It looked pretty decent. I think he ended taking the bottom one off after he re did his truck. I've always thought about doing like 50% on my entire windshield

I'm thinking about a 9-10 inch 5% strip, anyone have one before on a 2nd gen?

I got 35% on entire front windshield and I love it. I think it also helps with cutting some of the sunlight to the dashboard prolonging the life of it although I have no proof of that mines going strong no cracks. Heaven knows the dash needs all the help it can get.
