'Chrysler Collision Detection' might also have your odo say NoBus... #1 cause is loose connections, most likely at your guage cluster, possible some connections under dash. check all plugs, 99.9% thatll fix it

when i installed the bd top speed eliminator, the connections were loose and no bus showed up in the thermostat. Proper connection fixed that problem.

Other than the connection on the back of the display, where else could ya check? Mine hasn't worked in a while and I'm not terribly worried about it, but if there's somewhere else I could check? I'd like to give it a shot

well its turns on and all but just says CCD most of the time so I just turn it off. I doubt the connection is loose up top there, thats why I was asking if theres another place to look

I also have this message ever since I brought my truck into the dealer to diagnose an electrical gremlin I couldn't figure out. Charged me just shy of a grand to tell me what I told them to begin with (I thought the PCM was fried which it was) and program the PCM I got for 125 bucks in Montana (they wanted 1600)
As Keepsmokin99 asked, where is the other end of the harness that goes to the overhead display??

Ok so it connects on the back of the gauge cluster, or just gets a signal from there then, I know they had the cluster out of my truck for some reason. I told them when I dropped it off that I though it was a fried PCM and asked them to do a "quick visual" check to make sure when I put the new one in it wouldn't happen again. They charged me 9 hours of diagnostic labor at 110 an hour...
Thanks BigHemi04 I'll go tear the cluster out and grease up all the connections as soon as I'm done typing this.
