i have a 1998 ram 3500 pickup with the 24V engine and a 5sp trans. the only drivetrain mods are a K&N cold air intake, straight pipe exhaust and an exhaust brake. i bought the truck a little over a year ago and it has not given me any problems, until yesterday. oh, it has 192,000 miles on it. friday night i drove the truck up to a lake that is about 45 minutes north of where i live to do some fishing. i came home saturday morning and had no problems or warnings. i went back out about 2 hours later and it will not start. the engine turns over, but it will not fire up. first i changed the fuel filter thinking it was not getting any fuel, but the canister primed back up with the new filter without any problems. it was suggested to me that the cam sensor may be bad, so i changed it too. it still will not start up. does anyone have suggestions? there are not any computer codes set, and like i stated earlier - it ran perfect when i drove home about 2 hours earlier.
