Is there any way to raise the rev limit on a 24 valve, I have seen 12 valve governor spring kits, but haven't found anything for a 24 valve, or is it even worth messing with?

a chip. a programmer. i think they will. i ont think onthe 24v it is so much a rev limiter, as it just plains run out of fuel. but i dont know. with my egde and smarty stack i get great power through 3000rpm, up to 3300 even. but it wont get past 3500 with my current stack
if you want to raise the rpm's. the best thing you can do is get a redline box full theres 2 versions 1 will full fuel to 4,000 rpm the other will full fuel till you let off the throttle.
The TST PM3 comp and the Edge Comp Drag both fuel to about 33-3400 for more RPMs. Not in the league of a Redline, but cheaper and easier on the valetrain
yep whats stopping it is the comp itself. is 3500 bad? hmm...i run mine to that alot, and shes fine, but im not saying to...and read up on fluidamprs and make ur own conclusion whether youd like to have one or not -jake
I just dont want to destroy my engine, but I guess thats how you play.
I have a fluidampr on my '67 chevy truck, 350 small block, i like it on that engine, it ran alot smoother and revved up easier it seemed, I have heard bad things about them in the cold, but I havent experienced anything, Is there something I should know?
