Replacement uconnect 8.4 with nav

My 2014 2500 8.4 with nav is giving me phone requires service and the nav part puts my miles away from my location. I think its toast.

l’m looking for a replacement and only see infotainment as a place for an upgrade.

What and where have others done?

Unless you’re lucky to find one on car-part.com, infotainment is pretty much it. They’re grossly overpriced, but most times you have no idea what you’re gonna get from the scrap yard.

infotainment might be able to fix/update your current radio. I bit the bullet and had them put a new digitizer on my 18’ 8.4. It was pricey but done well. They also updated everything while they had it. Think it cost me 600 which is over double what I paid for it a few years ago.

You could try going to a tesla style radio and update it some so you get android auto and apple carplay Hit up @Dude_57 or @cumminsdieselfreak they sell them in full kits
