I went to cut the rear lug studs on my 1998 3500 to run shorter wheel spacers, and cut a few of them shorter than I wanted. What’s the best way to replace them? I did a search but didn’t find anything for our dually drum brakes.

Look them up by application first, to get the thread diameter and pitch - then search based on those values. Searching for "9/16-18 lug stud" on the green box store site brings up lots of (overpriced) results - but does give part #s and dimensions. You may need to press/drive out one of your current ones to get the shoulder depth.

Dorman still has paper books and on line info. So does the guy at Napa and parts stoes if they know what they are doing; Maybe they are the same dia for 2500.
