PMT V1.0.1.7F/V1.01.7G Results

Definitely a step in the right direction but still not comparable to 1016 or 1014 as far as power output.Very little smoke output, slight puff at full throttle. I would say a 1/6th of the fueling that was in prior versions.

Pros:
1) I'm going to estimate a 20hp gain over 1017E. Still not on par yet.
2)No bucking or surging:headbang:
3)Very little smoke for those who don't like to see it :whip:
4) Has a stronger diesel like odor from exhaust compared to the 1017E.
5)Seems to pull harder in first gear, but still will not break tires loose from a stop.

Cons:
1)Still not up to par on power output but this is a working progress.

Recommend anyone with 1017E update to this, at least you will get a little more power out of it.You can download it here:PMT V1.0.1.7F

Well 1017G is a step ahead of all the 1017 files but has no smoke at all.Not far from 1016 power without the smoke. I can also bark the 37s now but i could roast them in 1016. A lil more tweaking a BD will have it figured out i believe.

You can download it here:PMT V1.0.1.7G

By the way you do not have to go back to stock with this file as some of us did with the 1017E, just copy and paste the files to the SD card and overwrite the existing files. Then just update through the PMT:thumbsup:
That's good to hear. I'm still on d version. It seems that all the changes have been related to Extreme. Not affecting me running on Performance.

Clint - Is there any point in going to F if you never run in Extreme?

#18 ·
Does G have a option to turn off the pressure switch?

You guys are close now, we have :peelout. Absolutely no smoke with G tune in extreme, not even a puff . Power is up and i say a lil more tweaking and you will be at 1016 power without the smoke. I will say though im a guy that likes it a wide open throttle:whip: Will update the title and my second post.

Damn clint your really cooking now. I loaded F but hadnt drivin it yet, took the dog and kid to the park cam back and your already on G. Right on. Down loading it now will install then take it for a spin.

Both of the zip files include a file "VER1017e.TXT"

When I tried updating my PMT from 'D' it said same image loaded...trying to format it now and re-copy them.

I'm thinking Clint didn't update the VER1017x.TXT file to say G...

That's why I questioned you, thought you uploaded the wrong one by mistake

still says same image loaded when trying to 'update pmt software' so I'm turning it back to stock and will try reloading it.

My slipping clutch is still holding 1017D's Extreme so we'll see

:lol4:

Dang. You guys went thru 2 revisions by the time I got home from work. From What I saw in Clints earlier post I should see some difference/improvements changing up from D.

Clint....the version you sent me is there.....thank you for your assistance....what took me a week to do all day long on the phone you did in a matter of minutes. I will remain with bullydog as Clints actions have shown a lot of promise

He has done many good things.....I am a little dissapointed in Hadleys efforts and I will call you back...or email you attitude...to only be met with vm and not much contact....Clint did it from home...and he did it for us here only. That is far and above.
