I ordered at the end of December, and got the call from the dealer at the end of February that it was ready for pickup. I never got any e-mails or any updates during the build. I was fine with that though.

 

Just got the email that says it is scheduled for production. No date though

 

I ordered January 28. Got 1st email a week later. Never got another email Truck finally showed up last Friday.

 

Ordered Mine April 2. Dealership called me today said it will be sent out for delivery next thursday arty018:

Ordered mine 1 month ago, Dealer never said anything about emails though. Maybe canadian dealers don't do that? idk. But sounds like most people are getting them in 2 months. I'm dying a slow death trying to keep busy and not think about it...until the next cummins drives by me!!! :drool2:

I know right?????? dealership told me 2 months i was upset but w.e so i asked whats earliest ever he said 3 weeks but thats finding a needle in a hay stack..... So i spoke with them today and manager couldnt beleive it said sched. for deleivery from plant next thursday so ill take it hahah hope you get good news on yours brother.

 

Put my order in Feb.28, the dealer called and said he expects delivery on April 18.

I put my order in about 2 weeks ago and haven't heard anything.

 

I ordered my 2012 3500 Laramie Crew Cab 4X2 8' Box DRW about 6 weeks ago. The dealer said it will be at their store on April 20th. When I go to the Dodge VOTS website is says it's in paint. It's been stuck there for about 3 or more weeks. Is this a common issue with the VOTS not being updated?

 

I wouldn't trust the vots site. I ordered mine on 14 Feb, took 8 weeks to show up. I went to the dealer to pick it up and they ordered the wrong truck. Vots still says that truck is ready for shiping and its been here two weeks. They re-ordered the correct truck and put it on priority. I was told today that its been built and is ready to be shipped. Vots says production is scheduled.

I wouldn't get your hopes up. Mine sat in the distribution center for 2 weeks after it was unloaded off the rail car. The distribution center was 100 miles from the dealer.

 

I ordered my 2012 3500 C&C on 4/2/12. Dealer said scheduled for shipment on 4/19. VOTS shows in Delivery status. Can't wait. Old Chevy 3500 gasser is eating me alive. $300/wk in gas.

 

Ordered mine end of decemeber, think it was the 27th... and took ownership end of March so just about 3 months to the day. Mine also sat in the distribution center for over 2 week, somewhere in Michigan?? Thats what the dealer told me.

Yup, its a painful wait but worth it in the end.

Back in '06, Mine was ~8 weeks from order to delivery.

I was able to get a rail car number and track it via Union Pacific's website. I had to go over the salesman's head to get the rail car number, though. Then, he didn't believe me that I could track it. So, I bugged him every other day, letting him know where it was!

Then, it sat in the phoenix distribution yard for a week! Apparently they only deliver 1 dually per semi. IIRC, some line about the dually's being too long & wide.

Ordered my 2012 2500 Laramie Limited on 04-12, got my second e-mail yesterday stating it's scheduled for production, I have my fingers crossed...

 

2 Weeks ago they said it was scheduled for production. Last Thursday they updated and said it's in shipment. Can't wait, called the dealer today and he said it could take 3 weeks to get here. Just trying to be patient.

I ordered mine on the 19th of march and it was shipped yesterday

 

She has arrived. I tried to upload pic, but it said i exceeded my file limit by 640k.

 

That's great. Let's see some pics. I just got on the VOTS site and it has changed to Delivery status and said it should be arriving soon at the dealer. I'm ready for it. Got the call from Knapheide that my KUV body is in paint and should be ready in a week. Now if only I could catch a break in work to get everything put together once it arrives.

 

So low and behold I'm driving by the dealership on my way to an appointment and BAM! there she sits on the dealer's lot freshly unloaded. I wansn't able to stop and check it out but I should be getting the call to pick it up tomorrow. 31 days from order to delivery.

I think that Vots site is a joke stopped at dealership today check the status it says firm ship date 4/28 but the status shows it is in paint HUH???

 

Took me 12 weeks to the day to get mine. Ordered Dec 1 and showed up March 1. It took so long because I ordered a fleet color though. Glad to hear you guys aren't having to wait that long. It just about killed me.

 

I stopped by the dealer on Friday but they hadn't completed the fluid top-offs and paperwork. It's ready for pickup today however, I can't slip away from work to pick it up until tomorrow. This is killing me. Also got a call on Friday that my Knapheide body is done as well. Hopefully by this weekend I will have all the pieces together and this thing will finally be on the road.

:drool2::thumbsup: Looks Sweet. Just thought Id throw out that Chryslers sales where 20% higher than the nearest competetor I believe. Or it might be 20% over previous quarter. Either way they selling the crap outta em. Now that they are puttin quality in theirstuff look whats happening.People will buy.
