I’m about to pull the trigger on an MM3 tuner from DRD. Before I pay all that money for the tuner, tunes, exhaust, and EGR delete ai just want to hear from some guys who have done the same thing. Do you feel like it was worth the money? And would you do anything different? Thanks.

You will have people on both sides, but I am a big fan of deleting personally. There is a ton of reading on here if you do some quick searches you will have hours of opinions to dig through.

If I was going to delete these days I would go EZ Lynk over the MM3. I haven't been a big fan of the Ultra/MM3 platform other than the ease of use of loading a tune on the truck. The screen is clunky, the shift on the fly is slow and strange. Most tuners I have dealt with don't like the MM3 platform for some reason or other. There is a lot to be said about the always up to date tuning available at your finger tips with EZ Lynk.

I do like Ray a lot. I bought some tuning from him when he first got started on his own. His customer service was awesome and has always went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. I think lately though he has gotten too big to give that kind of one on one, ultimately I changed tuning but still run his tunes from time to time.

I agree with Andy and feel it's definitely worth the money. Next decision is who you want tunes from and what platform. Watch some videos online of the EZ and of the MM3 and try to decide what you would prefer. Both platforms are good for unlocking your truck (13+), tuning your truck easily, and have gauges available either on the device or your phone/tablet. I went with the MM3 and wouldn't change a thing. One thing with EZ is earlier it was a bit more complicated to set up your pyro but things have probably changed by now. With MM3 it came with it and plugs right in easily. Would also recommend a Protect68 kit from BD Diesel. Line pressure up to 225 after tuning and shifts are nice and firm. You almost never see any posts about someone regretting deleting their truck and 99% of them all say they wished they did it earlier. Good luck!

I may be wrong, but I believe there was an update that made it possible to change tunes with the sotf in 1 second or less

I am running a MM3 from DRD and feel it was worth the money. They do have a switch now that can immediately change tunes without the display, more of a stealth look. I highly recommend DRD but have not dealt with any other tuners so I can't speak about them. I have yet to see anyone say they regretted deleting.
