You need to update it. Depends on when it was manufactored as to which tune it has. They are supposed to come with non-turbo tuning. But like I said, you need to update it to make sure you have the latest software. :thumbsup:

 

I do have latest software. I have the 6.8.23
On my mm it says mild tuning installed but I guess it's no turbo tuning

 

it should be the non-turbo. I can't remember but I think the agg turbo tunes have something on there to that effect. but regardless, they shouldn't come loaded with the agg turbo tunes.

 

Would agg tt on mild setting hurt my truck ? Tranny is what I mean

 

There's no definate answer there bud. Sorry. Every truck is different. I've seen stock non deleted trucks blow tranny's and I have 130k on mine w/30 of it deletes. Drag racing, etc... Got my smarty turned up as much as turbo and fuel will allow. I ran the 225, 175 and below att when I had a black max. Didn't hurt mine. I also have the H&S Od tuning on my tcm. Don't know if that helps or hurts.. But right now my tranny is solid. now does that mean yours is good. Don't think the tune's gonna get yours, its gonna be your usage of your right foot. If it doesn't like it, then back out of it, turn it down. And untill your really really sure she can take it, put your shifter on 4 and keep her out of 5th and 6th during WOT runs. That's the real killer for a stock unit. Overdrives go out first then its all down hill from there.

BTW, the latest tuning is 6.7.28 for what its worth. Custom tunes are worth stepping up to. I Find the aggressive turbo tuning works well for towing my 5th wheel. Keeps EGTs lower.

 

Lenny is that for 2010-2011 Bc all I'm seeing is 6.8.23. Also do you run ATT hot Dam or mild ?

Yep, sorry about that missed the 2011 part. I very rarely run the hot tune, but I have the hot damn downloaded. I just like the ATT for towing. I run the mild setting.

 

H&S told me the out of the box tunes on the XRT pro have agressive turbo tuning even on the no power setting
