Hey, New 98 owner. The power locks, cruise, temp gauge all do not work. The safety belt lamp is on at all times, the radio shorts out consistantly. Recently traced a taillight/blinker issue to a ground. The builder put a lot of additional wiring for bells and whistles. I am wondering if their may be a common area that would fix all these or most anyway or do you think it all seperate issues.

My experence is most electrical problems stem from owners working on the electrical system.
Just because a person can put a new plug on an extension cord doesn't make them an electrician, though many think it does.
I would undo whatever the PO did.
