I just bought an 07' Qcsb. I know I am going to level it out and throw on 18" Mazzi Hulks, and wrap them in 35" Mud Grapplers. My question is, to those who have put on leveling kits, what brand did you go with, and do you like how it rides now? Also, did you have to upgrade shocks? Any info would be great. Thanks, Cole.

I think you should always change springs and shocks, minimum. Try Carli or Kore.

Started out with a Fat Bob's 2.5", then switched to a 1.5" as the truck looked good empty with the 2.5", but with a load/trailer it set up too much in the front, with the 1.5", much better. All are steal spacers.

One thing to remember is once leveled(no matter what rout you go) it changes your aerodynamics and my cause the truck to wonder a little on the highway. I have a "top gunz 2' steal spacer(paid $110) and skyjacker shocks($35 each) they have been on the truck for about 3 years(50,000 miles) and seem to be fine. The truck does still sit bairly nose down with the 2". I did try the 2.5 first but did not like the look of dead level when empty and it wondered on the highway, made my bug gaurd shake like crazy, and extra road noise from the "great" door seals dodge blessed the 3rd gens with. Switched to the 2" all problems gone except the wondering witch was reduced by 95%. A Guy i work with has 1.5" plastic spacers that he says are about 4 years old on his 03, and he hats them! they squeak and are starting to crack! If you go with spring watch the spring rate of the new springs. Good Luck!
