I have an 08 cummins with the tgc longarm kit in it. An I have one junk joint at the frame end. Can someone tell me what size the are? So I can order them. Tgc sucks an doesn't pick up there phone so I want to get a diff better brand I hope. Thank you

You need to measure the diameter and thread pitch of the shank of the joint, no one except a TGC dealer has that. Replace with a good joint, like a Currie Johnny Joint, then, start saving to replace the rest before it fails you.

I believe they just use Johnny Joints, and rebuilt kits are available everywhere

Is this what you have?

He's talking about the bushings, not the joints. They measure 2 5/8" wide and are either a 9/16" or 5/8" bolt.

And I want to say the thread pitch for the joint is 1.0"-14 tpi, but I can't remember which end is right hand thread and which is left.

I think when I rebuilt the joints, I ordered the parts from Pure Performance:

Prodigy Joints

Then you have more money to waste then I sir...Id rather spend more and do it right the first time instead of having to go back and do it again...and again...

But I guess that's the difference between you and me...If we were all the same, and all had the same opinion, wouldn't the world be a boring place?

Obv ur useless so just stay outta it guy.
But hey...im useless to this thread anyway...

:hehe::hehe::hehe:

We need to know what your talking about. There are BUSHINGS and joints... You keep calling the BUSHING a joint, and confusing everyone...

You want advise... take the TGC junk off the truck before it falls off. If you can't afford to make it right and only replace the BUSHING, get the prodigy BUSHINGS, if the shank size is correct.

You can buy the replacement steel sleeves and poly bushings, I did

To rebuild something that isn't broke

Get off your DOR band wagon

I got some used TGC double ended adjustable arms for $50, that were $800 new

I spent $100 on powdercoating and $75 on rebuild kits and they have worked perfectly for me, for over 2 years without ANY issues

If nothing is wrong with the arms and the joints or bushings just need rebuilt, then why not just rebuilt them?

1" Shank and 64,000lb Radial Load and 36,000lb Axial Load isn't strong enough?

Like I said, these have done perfectly fine for my truck for over 2 years

Rock Krawler said they will work perfect, and they have

Mine are still tight and don't have any play or slop in them
