Ive been having issues like boost, only get 20psi on my 04.5 Cummins. Made a DIY boost leak tester and found the boot coming from the turbo leaking all around it. Wanting a kit to replace them all. Is this something I can go cheap on or pay the price? They don’t seem much different but I’m sure they are.

That $50 eBay boot kit is a downgrade from OEM for sure. I wouldn’t trust it personally.

Not worth risk loose turbo psi EGTs go up then things start to melt

When it comes to rubber boots you get what you pay for. If these were both in stock and you felt the weight of one boot you would pick the heavier one as it will withstand the heat much better and last way longer. When it comes to certain parts it pays to buy quality.
