My dad has it on his 01 sport and it has a little red LED on the overhead console near the mirror if that helps?

 

Go to Chrysler, have the VIN and build sheet printed.

 

Exactly what i did, there is no charge, well i didnt get charged, and the guy spent time explaining it to me. Mine did not come with it, but the dealer carries it. It is a small box that mounts into something under the dash. You could easily get a cheap alarm installed and get keyless entry.

 

I emailed my vin and a day later they emailed back the complete option list.

 

U can just call a dealership with ur vin and they can tell you

If you cant get the factory keyless to work heres what I did. I got on amazon and bought a viper 350 plus for about $80 I also installed it with the doorlock relay module about $15 gives you a full blown alarm ignition disable relay and Keyless entry. By the way keyless entry only from viper is going to run nearly $60. Of course these are the parts only prices and will take you about 1-2 hours to install diy. Works on any truck with power locks.
