You're right, it is in "commercial settings". Must be in park. You will need to enter a pin, I believe it is set to 0000 from the factory (not certain on that).

You will then be able to select batt or ign only, momentary or latching, and last state or reset (awesome feature IMO).

Did your truck come from the factory with the switches? Probably need to have it programmed if you added them.

 

Yes, it came with them from the factory. But I have no settings or commercial settings option in the EVIC.

 

I have the same truck. Only buttons 4 and 5 can be changed from/to ign or bat. 1 and 2 are 30 amp (I think) and 3 is 20 amp. Got CRS so I may not be quite right on the amp rating. Mine is not an EVIC change, but a pin change in the fuse panel for those 2 switches.

 

the capability to change the aux switch functions in the EVIC didn't come around until after 2014's, at least in the pickups. I've heard the cab & chassis trucks may have had this earlier, but definitely not available on the pickups prior to the 15's.
