I believe the 2014's are coming with air ride Mr Shadow. They have already implemented a 5 link rear end on the 2500 with coils and the air ride option will replace the coils completely.

Will a 2500 pull it? Yes.
Will it be very happy? No.

I had an 11 2500 single wheel that I pulled my 48' united with and up until the point where I bought this enclosed trailer, I loved the truck. After I bought it and pulled it with the 2500, I didn't like my truck anymore. Even with added airbags, the truck just didn't feel very sturdy and it still sagged.

I sold that 11 and bought a 12 dually. Never looked back. I added airbags to this one just to keep it from constantly riding the overloads and I love it. Truck feels so much better with a load behind it compared to my 2500.

Don't get me wrong, it can be done with the 2500 BUT think of the long term goals of the truck. Will you ever pull a heavy camper or gooseneck? Going a bit over board on a truck purchase can be a good thing in the long run as it can suit more of your needs.
