Grid heater fuseable link

Not sure what caused the fusible link to melt , I was having some start issues but that was bad filter not sure if that affected the wire . Wanting to build a wire with a inline fuse from what I can find I need #8 wire and 250 -300 amp fuse is this correct ? O6 3500 srw

I’m pretty sure the wire after the fusible link is 6 awg and if that’s the case I’d be putting a 100amp fuse in there

I found I had to use a 150amp for each side of the grid heater. I blew the 100amp fuses I first got pretty fast.
