I deleted the grid heater, cables, and solenoid few months back. I’ve had zero issues with trying to get the truck to start up until recently, now that it’s starting to get chilly (low 50’s) the grid heater light comes on in my dash and the truck will refuse to crank, key does absolutely nothing, my truck is dead in the water. I have full power to everything and if I wait until it warms up the truck will crank just fine, but that causes an issue when I need to get to work in the morning. Is there anything I can do to fix that, some thing I may have done wrong? Any info is greatly appreciated, thank you

I do have power to the solenoid, and since it cranks with no issues when it warms up I figured it was safe to rule out faulty wiring, i have two codes P-0541 (insufficient power for the grid heater) P-0483 (cooling fan rationality check malfunction)

I’d look into trouble shooting those codes and also check for power to the solenoid when it’s cold and see if those problems are related. Resolving those codes might take care of the no start cold issue.
