if you are refering to the pcm under the hood on driver side by battery they are a circuit board sandwiched in the housing that you see and if you remove the screws you still have to sheer the plastice static welded pins that bond the peices together but it will come apart and wont hurt anything you wont find anything you can tighten but solder yes i doubt it will help you much these things on this year are known to go bad with corrosion and cost bout 400 bucks to replace they can also cuase all sorts of lighting and other problems that are very weird hard to explain good luck
